Internet Radio: It's Not Really Radio--It's Better

You don't need a transmitter or an FCC license. All you need to set up your own Internet 'radio station' is some simple, inexpensive equipment, a computer and a microphone. But it also helps to have information--and an audience that wants it.

(PRWEB) October 11, 2005 -- With travel becoming increasingly challenging because of the War on Terror, more and more authors, professional speakers, consultants and business coaches are looking for ways to get in front of paying audiences without spending hours in airport security lines."

I speak because I love to, but I travel because I have to," says Chip Tarver, an Internet business-to-business expert who frequently lectures at marketing seminars and workshops around the country.

For that reason, Tarver and many other business travelers are looking at Internet radio as an alternative to spending time and money flying from city to city."

It's wonderful" says Randy Gilbert, host of "The Inside Success Secrets Radio Show"--an Internet radio broadcast which has been "airing" for several years. "All you need is a computer, an internet connection and a microphone and you can, in effect, create your radio station. You don't need a transmitter or an FCC license. You don't don't even need a great voice. All you have to have is information other people want."

Gilbert is one of a number of Internet radio pioneers who have found ways to make money through online "broadcasting." He says "You can be extremely profitable with as few as five thousand listeners."

Gilbert will be a guest during a free teleseminar hosted by Tarver and former TV anchor George McKenzie on Wednesday, October 12th, at 9 PM Eastern. McKenzie and Tarver will question him about his Internet radio experiences, and especially about how he created a profitable program.

The teleseminar is entitled "How to Produce, Host and Profit From Your Own Internet Radio Show -- Without Being an Internet Audio Geek Techno-Wizard." It will take place Wednesday, October 12th at 9PM Central.Interested parties can find out more by going to http://www.publicity-pro.com or http://www.firstcontactsecrets.com/publicity-blog/

The teleseminar, which is a conference-call style class held over the telephone, is open to the public.

Gilbert also teaches a course for anyone who wants to learn to make money by creating their own Internet Radio Show.
